I was experiencing my first week as a missionary! How has time passed so fast? I have no idea. The past few days I have been reading through my journal and I can not believe how much I have grown! I have gone through some hard things the past year, and I have experienced so much happiness. I know that without the experiences that I have had this past year, I would not have grown as much as I have. I have learned to have trust in the Lord. That this is not all up to me. I am just a tool in His hands. Along with that, I have learned how much He is in the details of our lives. I have also learned that really and lasting and eternal joy comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has been such a wonderful time. 1 Year! With Soeur Thorn, my MTC companion. With that, this week was a very hard week and I don't really know why. But even with that, we had some really happy times! On Friday there was a ward dinner and we got to eat some good food and talk with members. They had us all write our names on an envelope and stick it on the wall. Then through out the meal, we would go up and write a little note to someone and put it in their envelope. It was such a fun idea. On Sunday we had the family we are teaching come to church, and another amie named K...! It was her first time coming so we had fun introducing her to the members. She told us she has been reading the Book of Mormon and that every time she reads it she feels optimistic. For P-day I finally got to see Bordeaux, and it is BEAUTIFUL!! The buildings are so big and old and I love it! We went shopping down a street that is the longest shopping street in France! It was a lot of fun and I got to eat Bordeaux's specialty which is a Canelé. It was so good!! I will probably get another one soon, hehe! Love you all and have a great week! - Soeur Glazier District Meeting
