If we could just fix that c... It means ice cream. What a wonderful week with wonderful changes! Our mission is now proselytizing on Facebook! It has been so weird. I have no idea what I am doing but I will figure it out, haha. In our district meeting this week we discussed how important it is to find creative ways to find people. We don't really know how we are going to do it, so we will be figuring it out as we go. Something we talked about is how much more willing people are to follow you on Facebook than to give you their phone number. Today we went out to lunch with the STLS for lunch. While we were there a lady came up to us and asked if we were Mormon missionaries. We said we were and then she told us about how she went on a trip with her family to Utah and visited Temple Square. She told us how much she loved it and that they actually met a sister from France. She shared pictures with us and we had a great conversation. As we were getting ready to leave we asked her if she had a Facebook. She said she didn't, but her daughter did. We asked her daughter if she would like to follow us on Facebook and she said yes! So now she can see everything we post and if she ever has a question she can message us. It was such a cool experience and it is a great way for us to share the message of the restoration with people. I know Facebook is going to be a blessing for us and is really going to help us to increase the amount of people we can teach. The cool thing about Facebook is that not only missionaries can do it, everyone can! Technology is a tool that we can use to help people come unto Christ. I am so excited to learn new ways for us to use Facebook. This week we got to go to a members house to do chi gong. It is like yoga and karate. She tells about it all the time and she wanted to do it with us. So we went and it was so weird! She had us walk around her yard on our tip toes. What made it hard was that it was not Utah grass, it was weeds and sticks. Then she had us do yoga moves which was normal. Then near the end she had us come to a tree and she told us to wrap our arms around it and put our head against the tree and to just be in the trees energy. It was so weird, and there were people in other yards just staring at us. I guess they think Mormon missionaries like to go hugging peoples trees. This week I also got to meet one if our amis Pa.... She is pretty cool and she is interested to learn more about the gospel. We also have an ami L... who is taking the lessons. His mom is less active and she wants him to learn about the church. She also has a daughter who is interested in learning more and we are going to have a lesson with her and her family this week! We are so excited! This week has been wonderful and my testimony has been growing and growing! Some days are hard but those hard days have brought me closer to my Savior. I know that our Heavenly Father is aware of all of us! Love you all! - Soeur Glazier Dying from heat.....as usual.

It has been a week since I first got to Lyon and I am so amazed at how beautiful it is here. I love my area so much! We have part of the city and then we have a lot of the country side which is one of my favorite parts! Not only is the area beautiful, but the people here are so amazing. This week I went knocking on doors to actual homes! It was so cool! And it was raining and there was a beautiful view of the city, so we had to take a picture or two. We also went to try to find some referrals that we had received. We weren't able to find them, but we got to knock on some more doors! My first Sunday here in Val de Saône was so good! I got to bear my testimony, and as I looked out at all the people in the ward, I felt so blessed to be here and to get to know them. The members here are so kind. I can't wait to be able to get to know all of them! There is a less active here who loves the missionaries. He loves us so much he calls us everyday and always wants us to visit him. We can't always go, but when we do he is always feeding us. It is so funny at church because he will just follow the elders around almost everywhere they go. There is another member who was recently reactivated who is old but she seems so young. We will be going to her house this week and she is going to teach us something like karate, which will be really fun. We went to visit a member this week named H.... She was really nice and she happened to make us dinner. But she made us fish, and I don't like fish, but I was going to eat it anyways. But when I saw it, it still had its scales and everything. I was still determined to eat, because who knows, maybe I will end up liking it. So I took a bite and it wasn't too bad as long as I didn't think about it. So I continued to eat until a bit something's hard. That was when I realized I had actually eaten the bone of the fish. I didn't know what to do because I didn't want to just spit it all out on my plate in front of the member. So I just sat there for a while trying to figure out what to do. Luckily she eventually left and I just emptied it all out. From that experience I realized that I actually don't like fish and I really hope no one feeds it to us again... but that probably won't happen. To end the great week off, we spent the day with the STLS (Sister Training Leaders) in Lyon! Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière "Je t'aime Val de Saône" Cathedral of Lyon With Soeurs Driggs, Cusick and Jones Puppet museum It is the end of the transfer...and I'm not going to be in Grenoble anymore! Now I am serving in Val de Saône which is one of the sectors in Lyon. It is so crazy! I never thought I would serve in Lyon, but here I am. It is so crazy because I never ever thought I was going to leave Grenoble. I am going to miss my bleu Ville, but I am so excited to be somewhere new. For my last week in Grenoble it rained a lot. It was literally like a shower outside. And of course Soeur Perry and I were not prepared at all, but it was an adventure. We also had a lot of good rendez-vous. This week we also got a referral for a family who went to one of the churches visiting centers. Sadly I won't be able to meet them, but I am so excited for Soeur Perry! We are so wet! Honestly this week was a blur with the transfer coming to an end. Since we got our calls Friday I have been so nervous! I have never been anywhere but Grenoble so it's a little hard to leave, but I am so ready to be here in Val de Saône. So my new companion is Soeur Driggs! She is from Riverton, Utah and is in her second transfer so I will finish training her! She is so cool! She went to BYU before coming on the mission which is pretty cool. Here in Val de Saône, we are surrounded by missionaries. We live 2 minutes away from President and Soeur Brown which is super cool. We also have a car which I was hoping would never happen to me on the mission, but luckily Soeur Driggs is the driver. It has been fun having a car, but it will take some getting used to. My new companion Soeur Driggs! Today for p day we got to go to Presidents house and help Soeur Brown get ready for all the missionaries going home. It was so fun! I love Soeur Brown. This transfer is going to be so fun and I am so excited to get to work and to meet the amis and members. Love you all! - Soeur Glazier Church building in Grenoble. Ch.....! Another hot week in Grenoble has came and gone, which hopefully means cooler days to come! We got to start our week off with zone conference in Lyon! And I am proud to say that I was able to get Soeur Perry and myself through the metros and buses without having to ask anyone! I think it was a first, so I had to give myself a pat on the back for that. So we made it to the chapel and had a wonderful zone conference. Recently we found out that our mission is going to start Facebook proselytizing, so most of the conference was helping us to prepare for it. We don't know when it is going to start but I believe it will be sometime this month which will be exciting. There are so many different ways to be able to share the gospel with others and Facebook is a tool that we will be able to use. We never know what impact the little things we do can have on others. Just by sharing a quote or a Mormon message can really help someone. This week has been a little harder than usual. A lot of our lessons fell through, which was really hard when our lessons are with amis. Lately none of our amis have been progressing, and it has been hard to get appointments because of the summer. But we keep trying and we are doing the best we can! It is easy to get discouraged but I know that Heavenly Father is carrying more of the work than we are. Sometimes I feel like it's all up to me and I forget that my companion is there helping me and most importantly that Heavenly Father is there guiding me. Even when things don't seem to be working the way we want them to, I know that I need to trust Him. His ways are better than my ways so I might as well make it easier on myself and turn to the Lord in everything I do. But even with a difficult week we still have happy moments! Our recent convert Ch... was the only one who showed up to English class so we just talked to her in English. It was so good to have that time with her and to get to know her better. She loves the gospel so much. She is always reminding us to send her a scripture text, and is always asking what the next lesson is going to be about so she can prepare for it. We had a lesson with her this week and she was so excited to tell us that she was going to bear her testimony in sacrament. It made me so happy to see her at the pulpit bearing her testimony that she knows that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that He lives. I feel so blessed that I have been able to see her change and turn to the savior. Ch... is amazing! She even invited us to her house for dinner and she made delicious mousse! Well, this is the last week of the transfer and then it is on to the next! It is crazy how much time has gone by and it is crazy how much I have changed! From knowing no French to being able to have conversations with people, from feeling so lost to learning to rely on my Savior, and so much more! My relationship with the Savior is growing and my love for Him is growing. I know He lives! I love you all! - Soeur Glazier Basic diet!
