Soeur Blackham and I were on cloud 9 this week! To describe it in a picture, Soeur Blackham and I are riding a wave with a cowboy hat. It was that exciting! To start the week off, it SNOWED! And I mean it stuck to the ground snow! We were so happy! But we ended up having a lesson in the snow since we couldn't get a member to teach with us. The lesson went OK. It was with a potential named N.... He just wanted to tell us the Book of Mormon had errors. It was so frustrating! We kept testifying that we knew it was true, but he kept telling us that it can't be true because of certain errors. We had another lesson with him in the week and we were planning on dropping him. The lesson started off the same as the last one. We were frustrated and he didn't want to listen to anything we said. After answering some of his questions we to read the introduction to the Book of Mormon with him. After, he understood better what the purpose of the Book of Mormon was, but he still wanted to tell us it was wrong. We then read some verses in Moroni 7 and the spirit of the lesson changed completely! He started to listen to us! And when we testified of the Book of Mormon and how we knew it was true, he didn't fight back. At the end of the lesson he seemed completely different and it was evident that he felt the Spirit and that he knew he needed to find out for himself if it was true. The Book of Mormon is so powerful! There is no doubt in my mind that it is the word of God. Other miracle! We were at the church and two ladies walked in asking if we could help them with genealogy. We ended up helping them with some members and one became a new ami!
And for p day today we went to Arcachon which is on the beach. It was so cool to see the ocean! We also went to La Dune du Pilat which is the largest sand dunes in Europe. They were so much fun, so enjoy the pictures :) I love the mission so much!! Hope you all have a great week! - Soeur Glazier
