This week was so busy!!! And we saw so many miracles! During the week we were calling potentials in our area book and one of them answered and said they wanted to come to church and that she was going to bring her husband. That Sunday we met her and her husband at church and they want to start taking the lessons!! We are so excited! Their names are A... and M....
Sunday in general was a miracle. We had so many amis come to church and so many members brought their friends. We will be meeting with them this week and we are so excited. We also have a baptism this weekend with two kids that we have been teaching. Their names are S... and R.... We are excited to help them prepare for it and everything. Even with all the miracles on Sunday, on the way to church we got a text from our amie O... saying that she had been thinking about it a lot and she didn't think she could ever be someone believing. When I read that my heart sank. We had been teaching her since last transfer and she was such a miracle. Whenever we taught her I could feel the spirit and she had even said she felt it. We tried calling her but she didn't answer. I was so worried. I didn't want her to just stop. When we got to the apartment I was praying and praying that she would answer us. She had come so far! I eventually came to the conclusion that she had her agency and that we did what we could. I didn't want to force her in anyway to take the lessons, but it was hard to see her leave. Then this morning she sent us a text saying that she could talk with us, and a bucket of hope went through me. We planned on just listening to her and relying on the Spirit with what we should say to her. She told us that she didn't feel motivated. There were times when she felt like she had faith, but she was going through a time where she felt like she didn't. As we listened, we shared with her that we all have those moments. There have been plenty of times on the mission where I didn't feel motivated and I didn't want to do it anymore. But I kept going, and that was what we told her. At the end of the call, she said she would meet with us again and will see how it goes. We can't give up! When we have hard times, we can't stop praying and reading the scriptures and doing the simple things. I love what elder Uchtdorf said, "doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith" . Heavenly Father is there with you every step of the way. And He loves you very much :) - Soeur Glazier
