![]() FRANCE! Haha I made it to France safe and sound. But it was so hard to get here. So when we got to the Salt Lake Airport, the Lyon missionaries and I got stuck on the run way for 2 hrs because of the snow. Because of that we missed our flight in Detroit to Paris. Luckily they had another flight later that night going to Paris. So we had to wait 2 hrs for that one. Then we landed in Paris (wahoo!) and we find out that we apparently don't have a flight to Lyon, even though they said we did. Now it was very unfortunate that our biggest problem had to happen in France, cause none of us speak perfect French. But after 30 minutes we got everything taken care of and found out that we would have to wait in the airport for 5 hrs. Since I was the travel leader I had to let the church travel office know that our flight was delayed, but there are no phones in Paris. Long story short we never called them. So we all took naps in the airport until our flight to Lyon. After all of our struggling, we made it to Lyon and I was so happy to see President and Sister Brown with other missionaries. I was so happy to hear English again haha! Since our flights were messed up everything the president planned had to get pushed back a day. So we had a day to take naps since we didn't sleep for many hours. Anyways we got to go to the mission house and play games and eat good food (Sister Brown makes amazing cheese cake by the way). And the next day we found out where we were serving and who our companion was. I have been blessed to serve in Grenoble with Sœur Calderwood! She is absolutely amazing! She studied at BYUI too and is a music major! Grenoble is so amazing! We get everywhere with trams which is super fun. But most importantly the work going on here is amazing! I come, and we have a baptism this Saturday! I am going to have my first baptism! That is so weird but so exciting. So we have been preparing her for her baptism, which has been super fun but has also been super busy. I also had a ward party this week. It was so good getting to know the members in the ward. Grenoble is like a college town, so we have some students who only speak English. I like talking with them hehe. Anyways the ward is so good and so nice. My first Sunday was also super good. Everyone warned me that I would get a headache, but luckily I didn't. I didn't really know what was going on most of the day, but I loved being their and seeing the members. Oh and all the missionaries in Grenoble (4 elders, and me and Sœur Calderwood) had a total of 15 amis (investigators/recent converts) at church. Apparently that doesn't usually happen. So that is awesome! We had many miracles this week, but one of them was with an Investigator and her daughter. They both have a baptismal date in August and apparently it has been that way since last year. My companion and I were talking with her and we were like hey you are almost done with the lessons! Then out of no where she was like, "I know, I was actually thinking about moving my baptismal date to April since you have been talking about the dedication for the Paris temple. What?! Neither of us could believe it! We are so excited for them! Overall Grenoble is amazing and the lord is really preparing the people here. Oh and for a fun fact all the museums here are FREE! And they are amazing. Haha I think that is mostly everything. I am loving it here! -Sœur Glazier Last few days at the MTC Zone! Our last temple walk. All the Soeurs in the zone. Fun picture of my district. Our last red day. Our Soeurs from the MTC surprised us with a cardboard temple when we were leaving. Heading to Paris with Elder Suisse. Super tired. FRANCE! Airport in Paris. Apartment for Soeurs in Lyon. I stayed here 2 nights. With my new companion Soeur Calderwood! On the train to Grenoble! Missionaries in Grenoble. View from my apartment. We have mountains!
