Well I have survived until P day!!! That's probably not too exciting since this is only my third day here in the MTC. Anyways the first day was great! I am super lucky to be in a trio with wonderful sisters. There is Soeur Thorn who is from Park City, Utah. She is Wonderful! She took three years of French in high school so she has been so helpful. Then my other companion is Soeur Hughes who is from York, England. She is also amazing. It's kind of funny how we have different words for things. She will say something and Soeur Thorn and I will just look at each other confused Haha! Soeur Thorn and I will occasionally say something in a British accents without even realizing it and Soeur Hughes will sometimes say things in an American accent! Haha I might be coming home speaking French and speaking English in a British accent. Class-wise...oh boy. Everything is French. French French French. It's good, but it is a little hard. I can pick up a few words, but not a lot. Yesterday we learned how to pray in French! From now on I can only pray in French, but for now it is mostly Frenglish. We are also going to be teaching a lesson in French later tonight. Wish me luck! The Soeurs in our zone are so AMAZING!!! Our first night they came by and gave us a box called the boîte de célébration which gets passed down to all the Soeurs who come. It's filled with treats and these face mask things, ha ha. The night before my companions and I stayed up a little too late playing with them. Oh, and I got to see Dad! I even got to go to one of his classes which was so much Fun! I loved seeing him and listening to him teach. I can't wait to see him later today with grandpa. This morning we went to the temple with our zone which was wonderful. We even got to have lunch there which was super good. Speaking of zone, I was given a little warning about the French zone. The Elders were saying that the French zones have been cursed because a while ago an Elder kissed six sisters. I don't know if that's true... but it does seem like that is some sort of "curse". Apparently all the missionaries in the French zone get really sick. Last week there was an Elder who had pink eye in both eyes, an Elder who was coughing up blood for a week and some more Elders and Sisters who were in bed for a while. They say we will I got sick. Pray for my Soeurs and I that we won't get sick!!!! Overall the MTC has been great. It's been hard but I am definitely learning. Everyone here is wonderful and I can't wait to get to know them better. I love you all!!!! Soeur Glazier Here are some pictures with the face mask things we got in the boîte de célébration. I'm on the right (just in case you couldn't tell)! We ate apples with the Biscoff I brought. We didn't know how to spread it all, so we used our cards. Hahaha
