So many times we question whether or not it is the Spirit talking to us or if it is just us. At the beginning of my mission I thought the Spirit was going to lead me every step of the way. I thought that as I was walking down the street, getting on the bus, or standing in line at the store I would have the strongest impression ever that I needed to talk to a specific person. But I never felt it. I felt confused and wasn't sure what I should do. I wanted to do what Heavenly Father wanted me to do, but I didn't know how the Spirit wasn't prompting me. But as my mission went I realized that I didn't need to have those big promptings. As long as I was doing everything I was supposed to and being obedient, I would be accomplishing the Lord's work. We had set a rendez-vous with an amie named A... and we were trying to confirm our rendez-vous with her, but she wasn't answering her phone. After waiting for a bit, we decided that we were going to pass her anyways. We found her apartment and rang her door bell. Nothing. We rang it again, and still nothing happened. I was getting a little disappointed and I turned around to face the street that was perpendicular to the one we were on. When I did, I saw the back of this lady and I had the thought that it was her. But I didn't see her face, so I wasn't sure. Without realizing it I started walking towards and I called Soeur Jimenez to follow me. Apparently when Soeur Jimenez saw the back of this lady as well she had the feeling it was her. Next thing we know we are running after this lady down the street and we still didn't know if it was actually A.... As we got close we found out it was her. We were so happy, and were able to talk about the Restoration with her. It wasn't until after that I realized we were being lead by the Holy Ghost. I didn't feel any prompting or anything and I didn't even think to question if it was the Holy Ghost. But we were able to be lead without knowing it. It was a wonderful experience. And the other highlight was the baptism of S... and R... Cl...! The baptism was wonderful! It was so great to see them both in white. And their dad who got baptized 5 weeks ago had the opportunity to baptize them. I was so happy I got to be there with them. Overall the mission has been great, and it is starting to get hot here!
