I have learned a lot of things on my mission. One of the lessons I have been learning in Nice is patience (hehe). We have so many great amis and I love them all so much, but I feel like they are not moving fast enough. They will follow the commitments we give them, but they either feel like they haven't gotten an answer or they are not ready to make a big commitment like baptism. It was frustrating me a little this week. I just wanted them to have faith and go for it. Everyone is different and we need to help everyone differently. But one day I know they will be ready. We are doing everything we can by praying, studying and preparing for lessons, sending them messages, etc. In PMG in ch.6 it talks about Christ-like attributes and one of them is patience. When we are patient we have trust in the Lord's timing. This is His work and all we can do is be an instrument in His hands.
Besides that, we had a fun week of seeing our amis and meeting people and eating good food! It have been with Soeur Jimenez and I think my Spanish is starting to get better, haha! It is also starting to get warmer here. When I was told I was going to Nice I thought it would be really hot, but it hasn't been bad at all. It's starting to get warmer, but at least we have the nice ocean breeze. One of my favorite things here is the ice cream! Since we are so close to Italy we get some gelato, so it's almost like I served in Italy too, hehe! Overall, it was a busy week from running to one place to another, and that made coming back to the apartment at night really exciting. Well, that's it for this week! Love you all!
