Another week has come and gone with adventures as usual! We started the week off well with some good lessons and some service. This week we were also finally able to have a lesson with our ami Pa...! He has been on vacation and he is finally back! So Soeur Perry got to meet him for the first time which was really exciting. Pa... had a baptismal date for the 8th of July, but he wasn't ready. We finally had another lesson with him and he told us how much he wants to get baptized and that he knows that that is what he is suppose to do, but the thing that is blocking him is the law of chastity. He knows what he needs to do but because of his situation he can't get married and he can't leave her. After listening to him my wonderful bleue, Soeur Perry, followed the spirit and brought up the law of the fast. So we talked with him about it and invited him to fast and told him that we would be fasting with him. Pa... is so cool! He has so much faith and hope and trust in the Lord. This week we went to do some contacting, but since I have been here for a while we have been trying to go to new places that I have not been to. So we decided to take the tram all the way to the end since it looks like a nice area. We get on and it started going, but because if the construction it ended sooner than we expected. We decide to just go along with it and get off and start walking, but there is no one. There doesn't even seem to be life in this area, it all seems like a ghost town. Eventually we get a little lost and can't even find anyone to ask for directions, and it starts raining! At this point we realize that we have come to a university, so of course if is a ghost town, at least for now. Actually most of Grenoble has seemed empty. We walk the streets we always do and there is like no one. Everyone is on vacation right now so Grenoble has been super quiet. But we get to see lots of backpackers! Sunday was Soeur Perry's birthday, so we celebrated the very best we could. I made her crepes and I even made salty crepes! It was super good! We even tried to put candles in it, but it didn't work super well. We even got pelted with hail! I tried to open my umbrella but the wind was too strong! I love the mission! And I especially love being a missionary in France Lyon! -Soeur Glazier District Meeting (holding up what transfer number they are on, Elders are 16 transfers, Sisters 12 transfers) With our ami Ro... I asked if we could do a funny face, she laughed then flat out said no, but I did one anyway. We finally took Les Bulles (the cable cars) up to the Bastille!
