We had a great start to the new week by going to our mission leadership conference! This transfer we are focusing a lot on working with the ward council and the members. Members play such a big part in helping investigators progress and to continue to progress after baptism. They are also a great source for finding those who are ready to hear the gospel. So we took that message and went back to Nice ready to work with the members. With Soeur Yee On at MLC We contacted an ami in our areabook and we set a rendez-vous with her and we invited a member to come. At first she said she just wanted us to help her learn English. But we continued to talk with her about the gospel and she opened up more about her religious background. In the end she said she wanted to meet with us again, and she was really happy that we had a member with us. The member helped us so much! I don't think she would have wanted to keep meeting with us if the member wasn't there. Later in the week a member invited us to lunch with one of his friends who is not a member. We went to this nice French cafe area, and the food was so good!! His friend was also really nice and we shared a little message with her. We talked to the member later and he said he is going to invite her to church! One of the highlights this week was.... the Albanian family that I taught in Bordeaux got baptized!! I was so happy!! Seeing pictures with them in white made me so happy, and I am so excited for them to continue forward and work towards going to the temple. Today for p day we got permission to go to Monaco. It was so beautiful and I don't think I have ever seen so much money in my life!! So many yachts and the Monte Carlo casino is very nice. We got to go in the lobby, hehe! We were also on the hunt for Rihanna, but we never found her. I also felt like such a normal person because we are not allowed to wear our plaques there. So I kind of know what it will feel like in 2 1/2 months!!!! Eek!!
Love you all and have a great week!! - Soeur Glazier
