Vizelle Southern France is HOT! I go out of the apartment and I feel dead, and it's only June! I'll just say I'm really nervous for July and August. We were talking about it with some members and they said that this is the hottest it has ever been in June. I hope that doesn't mean the whole summer will be like this or hotter. But it is also really windy here in Grenoble, so that is a little tender mercy. (FYI, there is no A/C in France, so when it's hot, it is REALLY HOT)
This week we decided to change things up and go to Valence for district meeting. Valence is beautiful, and I'm disappointed that I didn't take any pictures. For district meeting we talked a lot about working with members and how we can help them and strengthen them. Something I have learned is that working with members is hard, but it is worth it. I have seen Miracles because of it. It's always the hard things that end up being the most rewarding. For a fun fact, missionaries here love to play werewolf. I think I have played it at every district meeting! This week we also got to go to the bishops for dinner with a sister who served here 20 years ago. So we got to pick raspberries with her and talk about her mission. It was so fun, and the raspberries were delicious! On Friday we had a movie night with our Amis and members. We got to watch 17 Miracles. I hadn't seen that movie in so long, so it was fun to be able to watch it again. But overall this week did not seem to be in our favor. Our rendez-vous seemed to always be falling through. Hopefully this week will be better with rendez-vous! Love you all and I hope you all have a great week! -Sœur Glazier
