We had MLC this week so we took the journey to Lyon. It was our last mission conference with President and Soeur Brown. :( Since we are not having a zone conference this transfer, all of the missionaries leaving at the end of this transfer got to come and we had the opportunity to share out testimonies. As I was sharing my testimony, I couldn't help think about where I was about a year and a half ago. I have changed so much, haha! For the conference we also talked about the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of the restoration everything changed. We have so many blessings because of the restoration like temples, the sacrament, knowledge of the plan of salvation, the Book of Mormon and so much more! We were also told to make sure we share the First Vision in Joseph Smiths own words. The next day we had a lesson with an ami that we met from Arizona. We planned on sharing the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Since it was in English I quickly tried to memorize the first vision in English. When we were giving the lesson and it was time for me to share Joseph Smith's experience, I started to cry. I felt the Spirit testify to me that it did happen! Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. I know He did! Actually before that, I said a prayer to Heavenly Father, asking for a confirmation if Joseph Smith truly was a prophet. I had prayed before but we were invited to pray again to strength our testimony. In that lesson I received that confirmation that he truly was a prophet. So I want to invite you all to pray (whether you already have or not) to know if Joseph Smith really did see God the Father and Jesus Christ. We had some other great lessons this week with our amis O..., A..., M..., and others that we had met throughout the week. We have also been trying to clean our apartment and in the process we found two lizards on our balcony and we played a game trying the keep them out of the apartment. We also had a ward talent show and lots of amis came and members even brought friends! Woah!! - Soeur Glazier The 120 group! (Those heading home in July) President said "Hey let's dab."
