![]() What a busy busy week! Haha, it's so busy I don't even remember everything that happened. But this week has been full of tender mercies. Three times while contacting we have met Americans! People who speak English! Haha, they were all so nice. One was from Nebraska and she said they actually have friends who are members, but she isn't interested right now. But she was so nice. We talked for a bit and it was so comforting. Then later that week we met someone from Oregon. We talked for a while about the church and just explained why we were in France and how the whole missionary thing works. She also wasn't super interested, but she was still really nice and spoke to us in English which made me happy again. So Sœur Calderwood and I decided to go pass by a less active. We put it in the map and went. But for some reason there was no house where the map said there should be. So we were wandering around the area looking for this street that I don't think exists. After walking forever, we decided to head back. We get to the bus stop and we meet another American! We started to talk and she said she had family in Utah who were members. We talked with her about the church and in the end we invited her to church and we set a rendez-vous with her this week. It was such a tender mercy! This truly is the Lord's work and I am so blessed to be apart of it! Another awesome thing happened this week with one of our amis. So our ami is like 90 years old and she is so funny. We invite her to church, and she says no. We invite her to read the Book of Mormon, and she says no. Haha, but when we leave we ask her what she is going to do and she always says she is going to read. We didn't know what to do! But we got this idea to invite her to have her nurse read the Book of Mormon to her so she and her nurse could read it. But she said no to that too. She wanted us to read it to her. So this week we read 1 Nephi 1 with her. We gave her a copy of it and she just started to read it. I was so happy! She read the Book of Mormon! I think she likes us more now because she had us leave with food, haha. It has been a good busy week here in beautiful Grenoble. I am so blessed to be here and I am so blessed to be able to work with such wonderful people! The Lord is preparing his people and I see it everyday. -Sœur Glazier District meeting last week.
