This is something I never thought I would say about Nice, but it's a little cold here. When I was told I was coming to Nice I pictured a lot of sun and a lot of sun burns and sweating. But I have actually been bundling up a bit with all this wind. I have asked the members about it and they say, "just you wait". So before it gets unbearably hot, I will enjoy this sweater weather. This week was full of tender mercies. We had a lesson with an ami named T... at the church for the first time. So we gave her a chapel tour and we finished in the chapel. As we were talking she said she felt a lot of peace being there and felt a little out of the world. So we talked about peace and how Christ brings us peace. We then taught the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the spirit was there to guide us and to help her. It was such an amazing lesson! We will meet with her again this week and we plan to invite her to baptism. We met with another ami named Pr..., and she has been going through a hard time because she wasn't able to get baptized because her ex husband was still living with her. So we went to the lesson and she said she hadn't been reading the Book of Mormon, so we read with her about the principle we wanted to teach. The spirit was there too! She opened up more and she shared her personal experiences with the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is so powerful!! We also visited a less active this week. After giving a spiritual thought we helped her clean a little bit, and she complemented my hair. She then told me, "you look Amish. The Amish don't cut their hair either" after that, when she needed me to go somewhere she would say, "come my little amish" . Anyways, love you all and have a great week!! - Soeur Glazier We all went to a member's home. He had lots of hats so we put them on and took pictures and drank pina coladas!
