We got transfer calls this week, and I'm staying in Grenoble... And I'm training. Ahhhh!! It was so funny. President Brown calls us and he is talking to Sœur Vandroux, then he starts to talk to me in french. When he said I was receiving a bleue, my jaw just dropped to the floor and I couldn't say anything. I was so shocked, and then in English he asked, "did you understand?" then I replied, "yes... Yes President I understand. Oh wow!" I still can't believe it. I feel so young in the mission, but apparently that's how all the soeurs feel. So now I get to spend the week in Lyon! But with that, this week was packed! We had so many mange-vous (dinner appointments) this week, we felt so full! We left a members house and we could barely walk, we felt so sick. So we get pack to the apartment and are just doing our best to not throw up. We didn't even need to eat breakfast the next day because we were so full. This week we also had to plan the baptism for our Amis Pr.... We were so excited, but it was probably the most stressful baptism I have ever had! We were suppose to have a lesson with him an hour before, but he never showed up. So we were just calling and calling him, but he wasn't answering. The time for the baptism rolls around and everyone is there but Pr.... Eventually it's 7 and a member takes us in her car to go to his house. So we get there, run inside and bang on the door. No one answers. But we can hear the TV so we decided to call him again. We call and we hear his phone ringing inside his apartment!! We were so upset and embarrassed and all of the above. So we walk back to the members car, get in and we are just telling her how sorry we were. Then I look out the window and I see him. I see Presley riding his bike towards his house. I start to go a little crazy saying, "it's him! It's him!" so we stop the car and we start calling to him, "get in the car! You're late for your baptism!" overall he made it, but he was an hour late. Do you want to know why he was so late? An umbrella. He was late because he couldn't find one of the elders umbrellas that he borrowed. He couldn't come to his baptism until he found the umbrella. It was so crazy. I can't remember anything else from the week, but I do remember we were busy running from lesson to lesson. Now I will get to do all of that with a new bleue! I am so excited for this transfer and I can't wait to see the Miracles! Love you all! -Sœur Glazier With our recent convert.
