This week was a bit of a slow week. None of our amis were able to meet with us, even through video chat. And we even had to drop a couple which was a little sad. Since not much happened, we got to do a lot of contacting, which has been a lot of fun with the Light the World campaign. We went to a part of Lyon in our area called the Croix-Rousse. We were able to talk to a lot of people, but none of them wanted to talk to us. Another day we went knocking on doors. This guy came out of his house and we told him we were missionaries and he said he wasn't interested. So I decided to ask him if we could show the Light the World video with him. He said we could and as we were trying to pull it up he asked us where we are from. I told him I was from Utah, and then the thought came to my head to ask him if he knew where it was. He said he did because his parents live in Salt Lake City! I was so surprised and told him that was really cool. He went on saying, "yeah my parents are religious, they are Mormon." We were a little baffled and responded, "we are too! We are Mormon missionaries!" Haha, he was a little surprised. Apparently his dad is a bishop in one of the wards in Salt Lake. So we shared the video with him and he thought it was nice, but he still wasn't interested. But it was so cool! Even though he wasn't interested, I don't think it was a coincidence that we talked to him. One day we decided to try to call some people in our area book who haven't met with missionaries for a while. We called this one girl named A... who I have tried to call a lot. We decided we would try one more time and then drop her, but she answered! She was so happy we called her. Apparently something happened with her phone and she moved and stuff, but she still wants to meet with us! We have a lesson with her and we are so excited! This week has been so much fun with all the service opportunities that we have had to help light the world. I invite you all to find ways that you can light the world with the Light of Christ. So many people need to feel His love. Love you all and have another fun Christmassy week! - Soeur Glazier Oh and it snowed the first day of December! It didn't stick but it did snow!
